About the Retreat to Peru

Find out more about visiting Machu Picchu and the amazing history behind this sacred place.  It is better to go soon, rather than waiting a few more years, as the Peruvian government has started to limit the number of people on the Inca trail.

Get ready for the trip of your lifetime! Together we will enjoy a mild yoga practice in the morning led by teachers Chanel Luck and Bonnie Argo, then set off to explore the magic of Machu Picchu: hiking, sightseeing, shopping, ceremony and more!! Please note: this is more than a yoga retreat, and physical activity of other types will be emphasized, including walking and hiking. Come celebrate your practice off the mat as you take in the culture and amazing sights of Peru with like-minded people. Find rest and balance, be inspired by a team of talented teachers fluent in Spanish, and increase mindfulness of your overall health and strength.

Hanaq Pacha Retreat Center, The Sacred Valley

Where Heaven Meets the Earth

The Sacred Valley of Peru has been a source of spiritual renewal and exploration for thousands of years. Beautiful stonework, bright textiles and terraced gardens provide insight into a colorful and sophisticated culture that honors Pachamama ("Earth Mother").

Tucked in the Sacred Valley, Hanaq Pacha Retreat Center cultivates peace, health and well-being while supporting the Casa de Milagros, a home for orphaned children. We will have a chance to meet the amazing angel Mama Kia, who started Casa de Milagros and currently cares for 30 Peruvian children. On the other side of the valley, lies the retreat center which is set beside a beautiful rushing waterfall, a perfect place for spiritual rejuvenation. Experience a shaman-guided tour through Machu Picchu. Volunteer at the orphanage, or hike the Inca trail. With optional extras like massage, coca leaf readings, horseback riding and shopping for artisinal wares, it's sure to be an experience you will never forget.

The retreat cost is $1,900 and includes everything (accommodations, tickets to Machu Picchu, food, yoga, and ceremony). The retreat cost does not include your airfare.
